The Winnipeg Jets have signed goaltender Michael Hutchinson to a $2.3-million, two-year contract.
The contract is worth $1.15 million per season.
Hutchinson, a 26-year-old restricted free agent, appeared in 30 games this past season with the Jets.
Over his NHL career, Hutchinson has a 32-26-8 record with a 2.53 goals against average and .912 save percentage in 71 career games, the Jets said in a news release.
The Barrie, Ont., native was originally a third-round pick of the Boston Bruins in 2008. He made his NHL debut April 7.
He was signed by the Jets as a free agent on July 19, 2013.
