Driver killed and pedestrian injured in Medicine Hat collision

The incident occurred around 2:35 a.m. on Sunday
One man is dead and another is in hospital following a single-vehicle collision in Medicine Hat.
On Sunday at around 2:35 a.m., a car veered off 13th Ave. S.E. and hit a traffic light on the TransCanada overpass, according to police.
The driver of that car, a 27-year-old man, was killed in the accident. There was no one else in the vehicle.
A 23-year-old male pedestrian was also struck and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
