Man had three times legal limit of alcohol in his blood, say police
A 28-year-old man faces an impaired driving charge following an incident where a vehicle ran into a gas pump island Monday evening, say Charlottetown police.
Police say his vehicle struck a gas pump island in front of the Riverside Irving at 8:10 p.m.
The vehicle got a flat tire in the collision.
Police arrested the man on the scene. They allege he had more than three times the legal amount of alcohol in his blood.
