I have to say, being on the computer is pretty fun!

The thrill of "jacking in"!
I have an announcement to make, folks – the scoundrel that no lady has been able to pin down has finally fallen in love – but not with a maiden! Instead, I've fallen in love with... being on the computer! Ha ha.
Seriously though, it's high time we started appreciating how lucky we are to spend time on these fantastic machines. From the moment I flick on my Dell CPU in my basement apartment, to the breathless anticipation I feel as I wait 30 seconds for Internet Explorer to load up, I just truly love buckling up and "jacking in"!
The staggering amount of information at your fingertips
The amount of information you can find on the web is truly overwhelming. Suddenly, you can learn what the weather is like today, what the weather may be like tomorrow, which "celeb" is on the MSN home page, and more! One begins to understand how Keanu and co. dreamed up The Matrix.
Every email is a mystery
Did you know that on the computer, you can get exciting messages from all over the world without paying a dime? Of course I'm referring to email! My Hotmail account has introduced me to literally hundreds of fascinating characters I wouldn't have met otherwise. I've come across incredible investment opportunities and happily given my banking info to friendly folks who'd like to deposit money in my account. I've even received emails from ladies hoping to find love (they've also requested my banking info, likely to ensure that I'm not some sort of fake)!
History actually can be interesting – your own history, that is!
Now being on the computer isn't just fun and games. It also teaches you quite a bit about history – of course I'm talking about your browser history (ha ha)! With just a few clicks, you can spend hours reliving your exhilarating Internet experience over and over again. Just today, I went through my history and fondly remembered my search for Sea+Quest+DSV+pics, my time perusing TheHistoryOfFlour.ca, and some Murdoch Mystery fan recreations I watched on Youtube. Now that was a Saturday night to remember!
So next time someone tells you to log off and go for a walk outside, tell them you are on a walk – through a majestic virtual landscape!
(Also if anyone hears from an Oksana from Estonia, please inform her that I have a few questions regarding a mix-up in my ol' bank account-o-rino if she has a moment ;) )
