The Hero
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker
Storage Wars: Jared Schultz
Storage Wars: Jared Schultz
Luke was courageous and noble, and he had a satisfying story arc, but he loses points for having that weird bowl cut. Meanwhile, Jared owned a cool pawn shop and rocked his OWN sick clothing line.
Advantage: Storage Wars
Advantage: Storage Wars
The Villain
Star Wars: Darth Vader
Storage Wars: David Hester
Storage Wars: David Hester
Vader is probably one of the most iconic villains in film history. Meanwhile, Hester coined one of the cleverest catchphrases of all time, and played the villain role perfectly. It's a tough call, but Hester loses points for claiming the show was fake. (Clearly a ruse).
Advantage: Star Wars

The Comic Relief
Star Wars: C3P0 & R2D2
Storage Wars: Barry
Storage Wars: Barry
I'm sorry, but this one is not even close. Was it funny to watch a robot dandy fuss about with his beeping, whirring buddy while they ride across the galaxy? Sure. But NOTHING touches Barry. I mean, just check this out. Genius.
Advantage: Storage Wars, by a landslide

The Mistake
Star Wars: Jar Jar Binks
Storage Wars: The Spin Off
Storage Wars: The Spin Off
In The Phantom Menace, Star Wars introduced a character named Jar Jar who didn't exactly become an instant hit with fans. However, there was no betrayal greater than when A & E tried to sell us on Storage Wars: Texas. No Barry, no Brandy, no Darryl? Sad times, indeed.

Theme Song
Two beautiful pieces of music here. Both are similar in scope, scale and complexity. It's hard to pick a winner here, but if we must…
Advantage: Storage Wars. Rocks a bit more.

Conclusion: Sorry, sci-fi fans! Storage Wars wins in a tight one!
