A landlord discovered a drug-making operation in a home in the southeast community of Auburn Bay that he thought the tenants had vacated.
Calgary police were called Sunday at 6:15 p.m. to the 0-100 block of Autumn Terrace to investigate after the landlord discovered drug paraphernalia and equipment used to manufacture drugs.
The RCMP Clandestine Lab Enforcement and Response (CLEAR) Team was then called in and is expected to search and decontaminate the home over the next several days.

Investigators are treating the home as a suspected fentanyl re-processing lab, but testing by Health Canada will be required to confirm that. Results are not expected for several weeks.
The home does not pose a public safety risk to neighbouring homes. It will take several weeks for laboratory analysis by Health Canada to determine what drugs were being made.
