'Assault rifle' found in child's bedroom during Calgary drug raid

Police lay charges and seize $63K after 2-month investigation
Three siblings are facing a long list of charges after Calgary police found drugs, cash and weapons in a drug trafficking investigation on Thursday, police said in a release.
Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 52 Street S.E. and Memorial Drive S.E. and arrested two people.
Tactical officers then executed a search warrant on a house in the 400 block of Marlborough Way and took another man into custody.
Among the items they seized at the house were what police describe as a ".22 caliber assault rifle" with a loaded drum magazine, which was recovered from a child's bedroom.
Officers also found a loaded 9 mm handgun along with licence plates, cash, cocaine and marijuana.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
