Welcome to Newfoundland and Labrador, where the gas is expensive and drivers are fuming.
The cost of gasoline jumped dramatically Thursday morning with the doubling of the provincial tax on gasoline.

Gas prices jumped 18.65 cents a litre as the provincial tax doubled, and the HST was added on.
The good news is that the government says the higher gas tax is temporary, and will be reassessed in the fall.
