Just as barbecuing season gets underway, the price of propane went up on P.E.I. Wednesday.
The change was part of the regular twice-monthly price review by the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission. Prices are up 2.1 cents per litre for Superior Propane and Kenmac Energy, and 1.7 cents for Irving.
Gasoline and heating oil prices are unchanged. Gas prices, however, did go up in an unscheduled change on Saturday.
The next scheduled price review is June 15.
