'We were born small but we will become big,' QS spokesperson and MNA for Gouin Françoise David said
Québec Solidaire is celebrating 10 years in the Quebec political scene with a party at Club Soda tonight.
Party spokespeople Françoise David and Andrés Fontecilla used the occasion to highlight how they believe the party has grown, and how the province has regressed.
Founded in 2006, the left-wing, sovereignist party says its goal is to establish a majority government in the next 10 years.

Party set
To celebrate their anniversary a free party is happening tonight at Club Soda.
Politicians David, Fontecilla, Amir Khadir and Manon Massé will be present along with public figures like author Normand Baillargeon, singer Bia, director Hugo Latulippe.
Quebec director Xavier Dolan will be there in spirit via a recording he made to support the party on their anniversary.
Moving forward
David says that while sovereignty is a shared goal between QS and the Parti Québécois, where the parties stand on other issues like pipelines plays a role in whether or not QS will consider joining forces with the PQ.
"As sovereignists, we have the same ideas. But, sovereignty is one thing. There are many other issues that are very important for us. Like, all questions of environment, oil, gas," David said.
