Woman dies in ATV accident in east-central Sask.

Child, 7, flown to hospital with serious injuries

A woman is dead and a small child is injured following a crash involving a pickup truck and an all-terrain vehicle in east-central Saskatchewan.
It happened around 8 p.m. CST Monday on the Fishing Lake First Nation, east of Wadena.
The woman who had been a passenger on the ATV died at the scene.
A child, 7, who had also been on the ATV, was flown to hospital with what was described as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Wadena RCMP were investigating late Monday night. They say alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Police haven't released the name or age of the woman who died.
