Man found dead after RV fire at Balzac campground

60-year-old found in motorhome after flames put out, fire not suspicious

A man was found dead in a recreational vehicle after an early morning fire at a Balzac campground, police said in a release.
Airdrie RCMP and Rocky View County fire responded to a call just before 5 a.m. Saturday to find a motorhome fully engulfed in flames.
A 60-year-old man was found deceased in the RV after the fire was put out.
Calgary police investigators assisted RCMP and determined the fire was not suspicious in nature.
The man's name is not being released pending notification of family.
Balzac is just north of Calgary city limits.
