A 62-year-old man was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle Friday night, Charlottetown Police say.
The man was walking along the arterial highway between Brackley Point Road and Mount Edward Road at around 9:30 p.m., when he was hit.

No charges have been laid, but police are still investigating.
Excessive speed is not believed to be a factor. The speed limit on that stretch of road is 70 kilometres an hour.
