66-year-old-man killed in crash between pickup, transport truck

Transport truck driver released from hospital Wednesday evening
A 66-year-old man from the Central Lot 16 area was killed Wednesday when the pickup truck he was driving collided with a transport truck.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the early Wednesday afternoon crash in Grand River, P.E.I., at the intersection of routes 131 and 12.
RCMP say the driver of the transport truck, who was taken to the Prince County Hospital in Summerside, was released from hospital Wednesday evening with minor injuries to one arm.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist was on the scene until about 9 p.m. Wednesday.
