Hospital overcrowding leads to poor patient care and low staff morale, report suggests

According to documents obtained by Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath, hospital overcrowding is a critical problem in Ontario, with many major hospitals across the province operating at over 100 per cent capacity. That leaves some patients waiting days on end to access a bed and the care they need.
The documents reveal The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Brantford General, and London Health Sciences Centre were some of the worst hit.
