Unidentified male found on the east shore of Lake Laberge Monday night
Yukon's chief coroner says dental records are needed to help identify a body found north of Whitehorse earlier this week.
"A forensic dental comparison has been ordered to scientifically confirm the identity of the male individual found in Lake Laberge," said Kirsten Macdonald in a Wednesday news release.
Macdonald previously said the body was badly decomposed and that she hoped to identify the body by the end of the week.
The remains were found on the east shore of Lake Laberge on Monday evening.
The RCMP has said there is no concern for public safety.
