Man killed in Chilliwack stabbing on Yale Road

Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and Chilliwack RCMP to probe incident

​RCMP say a man died Tuesday following a stabbing in Chilliwack.
Police were called to the 46000 block of Yale Road after receiving a report of a stabbing at approximately 3:30 p.m, police said in a statement.
An injured man was found, and despite efforts to treat him at the scene, he died, police say.
A second man was taken into police custody.
According to the release, Chilliwack RCMP will work with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team to investigate the incident. The area surrounding the crime scene "will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time."
