A new series from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes is here to satisfy any fans longing to return to the English countryside of yore.
Amazon Prime is set to stream his British period drama Doctor Thorne later this month. Fellowes adapted the three-part series from a novel set in the 19th century by Anthony Trollope.
The series, which debuted on Britain's ITV, will be dubbed Julian Fellowes Presents Doctor Thorne for North American audiences, with Fellowes offering an introduction to each episode.
Starring Tom Hollander (perhaps a familiar face to fans of AMC's The Night Manager), Doctor Thorne features a large ensemble cast and complex plot lines.

Life after Downton

After wrapping the sixth and final season of his international sensation Downton Abbey in North America earlier this year, the award-winning writer hasn't stopped working.
In April, Fellowes released the period drama Belgravia through an audio book app. He also wrote the book for the Broadway musical School of Rock, which is based on the 2003 film starring Jack Black.
Early Tuesday, he was nominated for a Tony Award for his work on the musical.
"This is a great honour and I am absolutely delighted," Fellowes said about his nod.
"I'm a comparative newcomer to this arena and so a Tony nomination is more than I ever dreamed of. I could not be more grateful."
Doctor Thorne begins on Amazon Prime in the U.S. on May 20.
