New Brunswickers turned out in record numbers to the advance polls on Saturday and Monday, according to Elections New Brunswick.

Saint John was another hotbed of early voting.
The city recorded 4,348 ballots cast over the two advance polling days.
Meanwhile, the fewest number of voters turned out in the Charlotte and Carleton-Victoria regions, with 1,049 and 1,136 votes, respectively.
Harpelle said municipal returning officers reported lower numbers of voters during the day with the pace picking up at the end of the work day and after supper.
New Brunswickers are going to the polls on May 9 to elect mayors and councillors as well as to pick representatives for regional health authority boards and district education councils.
