A cyclist is dead after a hit and run in Winnipeg's East Elmwood area overnight.
It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Nairn Avenue, near Kent Street.
Police say two adult cyclists were in the eastbound curb lanes on Nairn when one of them, a man, was hit.
Eastbound Nairn was fully closed between Chester Street and Keenleyside Street for many hours following the crash but has since reopened.
Police said the suspect vehicle is a dark-coloured Subaru with damage to the front passenger side.
