Peter Nassichuk's death in fight outside Copperfield liquor store nets manslaughter charge

Calgary police have charged a man with manslaughter in connection to a fatal fight last month in Copperfield.
Peter Nassichuk, 37, died several weeks after being involved in a confrontation outside a liquor store on McIvor Blvd. S.E. on March 24.
He was punched in the head, lost consciousness and hit his head on the pavement.
Nassichuk died in hospital from his injuries on April 11.
Rico Properzi, 31, surrendered to police on Thursday and was charged with manslaughter.
He will appear in court next week.
Nassichuk's death is the fifth homicide of 2016.
