Charlottetown police say a 21-year-old city man faces charges of dangerous driving and flight from police after an incident Wednesday night that ended after a road block was set up.
Deputy Chief Gary McGuigan said officers were doing routine patrols on Queen Street at around 10:25 p.m., when they tried to stop a vehicle. But the driver kept going.
He said that led to a police pursuit. It ended in Victoria Park after officers set up a road block.
McGuigan said after investigating further, they found the man was also charged in February in connection with a similar incident in Newfoundland.
