21-year-old man faces series of charges, including 1st-degree murder
The man allegedly involved in the shooting death of Amin Mohammed Abdullahi outside a Whyte Avenue nightclub has turned himself in to police, less than a week after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.
Arman Dhillon, 21, turned himself in to Edmonton police early Tuesday morning.
The homicide section of the Edmonton Police Service issued the warrant March 30 after Abdullahi was shot outside the Tribute Lounge near 81st Avenue and 105th Street. March 27.
Abdullahi, who went by the name Hamza Tyme, died in hospital hours later.

Abdullahi, 30, was in Edmonton visiting his brother, who was also shot but is recovering after surgery.
Dhillon is facing a total of 21 charges, including first-degree murder, attempted murder while using a restricted firearm, aggravated assault, using a firearm in commission of an offence and a number of breaches.
No further details are being released by police at this time.
