The Tim Bosma trial heard testimony today from firearms expert Jennifer Plath, who talked about the photos of guns found on the phones and computers of the two men accused of Bosma's murder, and about the shell casing found in Bosma's truck.

Dellen Millard, 30, of Toronto, and Mark Smich, 28, of Oakville, Ont., are on trial in Ontario Superior Court in the death of Hamilton's Bosma. Both have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
On Monday, in a tense cross-examination from the legal team representing Smich, court heard that Millard's employee and right-hand man Shane Schlatman lied to police to protect his boss. When police came calling asking about the case, Schlatman wasn't immediately forthcoming with key details, the jury heard. When investigators asked him about the location of Millard's red Dodge pickup truck, he didn't tell them where it was.
