Calgary police arrest man who rammed police cars in overnight car chase

No police officers injured
Charges are pending against a man who led Calgary police on an overnight car chase through the city, ending with his arrest after he rammed two police cars.
It started downtown when police spotted a truck driving without lights around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

A police helicopter tracked the truck as it sped towards the community of Dover in southeast Calgary, where the suspects then switched into a white BMW.
They went speeding back downtown where they rammed two police cars. No officers were injured in the incident.
Some of the people then got out of the vehicle, but the police helicopter stayed with the BMW.
Eventually the driver went back to Dover and tried to make a run for it.
He was tracked and arrested around 3:30 am.
