Marco Muzzo was sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection with a Vaughan, Ont. crash that killed three young children and their grandfather.

Ontario Superior Court Justice Michelle Fuerst announced the sentence in court Tuesday morning.

Fuerst gave Muzzo eight months' credit for time spent in custody, so he will only serve nine years and four months of his sentence. He will also be banned from driving for 12 years after he gets out of prison.
