When Gavin Crawford(external link), host of CBC Radio One's hysterical quiz show Because News(external link), agreed to sit down with CBC Arts for a Cultural Speedround, we knew from his affable presence on the show that his quick responses would be surprising and kind of delightful. After all, who still watches The Muppet Movie AND plays Magic: The Gathering? (Yes, all hate mail resulting from that question may be addressed directly to Lise Hosein.)
Catch Because(external link) News(external link) on CBC Radio One on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Mondays at 11:30 a.m., or listen on Sirius XM, Channel 169.
Crawford will also play a lead role in The Terrible Parents at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre(external link) from April 6-17.
Watch Exhibitionists(external link) Sundays at 4:30pm (5 NT) on CBC.
