CBC's Ioanna Roumeliotis presents a case study of the Jian Ghomeshi trial featuring exclusive interviews with the three complainants.
Ghomeshi, a former CBC Radio host, was found not guilty Thursday of all charges in his sexual assault trial in an Ontario court.
In lengthy interviews, Roumeliotis spoke with two complainants about their experiences before Thursday's decision. The third complainant spoke to CBC News after the Ontario court judge issued his not guilty ruling.
In a trial where the credibility of the witnesses became a central question, Roumeliotis hears from the women, but also speaks to a former police detective with extensive experience investigating sex crimes and a former Crown attorney about how the courts deal with them.
