A 21-year-old woman is facing a drug charge after Charlottetown police said she went to court Monday morning to pay a fine and had drugs in her purse.
Police said the woman's purse was being screened before she entered court and officials with the sheriff's office allegedly found prescription drugs in baggies along with drug paraphernalia.
The woman was arrested and has been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking.
