Summerside hoping to attract immigrant entrepreneurs

A new staff person with the PEI Connectors Program is expected to start in Summerside in April
A new staff position will be opening up in Summerside, P.E.I., with the goal of making better connections with the Island's immigrant business community.
The job will be with the PEI Connectors Program, an initiative delivered through the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce that helps immigrant entrepreneurs set up shop.
"I'm excited about the opportunity for business people who are looking to set up businesses that may look at Summerside as an opportunity," said Summerside Deputy Mayor Brent Gallant. "It's going to be good for this whole area.
The new staff person is expected to start work in April, out of the office of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce.
