Car crashes through Beltliner restaurant window

Hours earlier there were dozens of people in busy restaurant
Beltliner restaurant owner Brendan Bankowski says it could have been much worse after a car crashed through the window of his restaurant on 12th Avenue S.W. Sunday afternoon.
"We are just happy nobody was hurt," Bankowski said.
"It is just a mess. It is just stuff and we can clean it up and fix it and nobody was hurt, so it's OK."
"We closed at 4 p.m today. We had fed about 350 people today so if it would have happened a few hours earlier the results would have been much sadder for sure," he said.
There doesn't appear to be any injuries and Bankowski wasn't sure how much the damages were going to cost to repair.
"This is the first time a car ever drove into my restaurant, so I don't know."
