Fredericton musician Tristan Horncastle brought his guitar to Monday's Fredericton city council meeting so he could promote his benefit concert for Amanda Burtt.
Burtt lost her right arm after a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 last October.
Last month she met Larry Gullison, who said he was going to raise $75,000 to buy Burtt a prosthetic arm. Gullison asked Horncastle if he would be willing to put on a benefit concert to help raise money and Horncastle agreed.

"I've had so much given to me and had so many people help me out that the least I can do is help out and give back when I can," said Horncastle. "I'm just happy to be part of it."
Horncastle and some other country singers will put on the concert on June 2 at the Richard J. Currie Center.
Burtt is a single mother and didn't imagine anyone would help her in such a way.
"It's unbelievable. It's very special. It's made me believe more in people, and God," said Burtt. "It means a lot to me, I just can't believe the people that come together. It's crazy."
Horncastle said they are hoping to sell 1,500 tickets for the benefit concert.
