It was an important history lesson from someone who lived through it.
Eva Olsson was 19 when her family was sent to Auschwitz, the infamous Nazi death camp, during the Second World War. She survived, but many in her family did not.

At 91, Olsson now travels and uses stories from her experiences to promote tolerance and compassion. During a tour of Alberta, she spoke Monday to junior high students at McKernan School.
