More than 200 high school students from across Alberta faced off at the fifth annual provincial VEX Robotics Championship at NAIT this weekend.
Each year, the students are presented with an engineering challenge in the form of a game.
This year, students were tasked with building a robot that could toss balls into a basket.
The top four teams qualified for the 2016 VEX Worlds, which will be held in April in Louisville, Kentucky.
