York Regional Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a fatal stabbing this morning in Vaughan.
Two 22-year-old men were stabbed after an altercation between two groups of people just after 3 a.m., in a parking lot on Interchange Way — near Highway 400 and Highway 7.
A man from Richmond Hill was pronounced dead on scene, and the other man, who is from Aurora, was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Several bars share the parking lot where the stabbing happened, and there were a number of people in the area at the time, police said.
Police have released no suspect information and still need to contact next of kin before identifying the victim.
