Pierre Karl Péladeau and Julie Snyder are once again calling it a day.
Péladeau, leader of the Parti Québécois, and Snyder, a television personality and producer, announced their separation after five months of marriage in a statement on Monday.
The statement said the former couple are in the process of negotiating a settlement.
"This avenue has the goal of ensuring the best solution for our children," the statement read.
Péladeau and Snyder separated once before, in January 2014.
They then married in August 2015 in a ceremony attended by a who's who of Quebec pop culture and politics.
The couple were together for 10 years and have two children.
