M.E. Callaghan Intermediate School in Woodvale, P.E.I., will be closed tomorrow to allow students and staff to attend Conor Shea's funeral, the English Language School Board says.
The 14-year-old boy died in a snowmobile crash on Sunday afternoon in Pleasant View when the snowmobile he was driving collided with a car.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church in Palmer Road. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hockey PEI is honouring the young hockey player and fan with a special memorial decal.
When demand for the stickers began to flood in from other teams, Hockey PEI was quick to respond.
It's now working with a company to come up with a sticker package for individuals and teams looking to purchase them.
