Police say they were called to a home in Welland, Ont., Tuesday afternoon
A Niagara Regional Police officer has been suspended with pay after being arrested on multiple criminal charges.
Police say they were called to a home in Welland, Ont., Tuesday afternoon, where they arrested one of their colleagues.
Const. Wayne Brown is charged with break, enter and commit assault.
Police say Brown, 42, is a 15-year veteran of the force currently working as a uniformed patrol officer.
Brown was held in custody and was expected to be in court later Wednesday for a bail hearing.
