3rd man in Ten X shooting still sought by Calgary police
Calgary police are still searching for the third suspect of a shooting at a packed nightclub early Sunday morning in the city's southwest.
Two other suspects appeared in court Tuesday and one of them is planning to seek bail, according to his lawyer.
Neither Mohamed Elmi nor Mohamed Salad spoke as they made an appearance via CCTV, both wearing blue prison jumpsuits.

Early on Sunday morning, a man got out of a car in front of Ten X Nightclub, walked to the front door with a gun and shot three times into the bar, according to a witness. Police say two other men were waiting in a nearby car.
"The shooter was immediately tackled by bar staff, and shortly after joined by CPS Gang Suppression Team members who were nearby and heard the shots," said police in a release. "The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene along with the alleged shooter."
Police have charged Elmi and Salad with attempted murder, along with numerous other offences, in connection with the incident on 10th Avenue S.W. that sent a 38-year-old man to hospital in stable condition with injuries to his torso.
3rd suspect sought
Officers are now looking for a third suspect who was detained at the scene, but was able to escape when police arrested two other suspects.
The man is described as black, roughly five-feet-10-inches tall, and between 20- and 30-years-old. He was wearing white pants and a beige-coloured sweater.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or Calgary Crime Stoppers.
Calgary police have not released a motive for the shooting but in a statement said they have ruled out terrorism, likely in response to social media reaction to the arrests.
Officials also say it's not connected to "several other acts of violence in the city over the past several months."
Salad received a conditional discharge in 2011 for drug possession, but failed to complete his community service hours and was charged with a breach of probation, according to court records.
Elmi has no prior convictions in Alberta.
An agent for defence lawyer Tonii Roulston appeared for Elmi, asking the judge to put the matter over for a few days as she awaits disclosure.
It's unclear if Salad has a lawyer yet. A court-appointed lawyer appeared on his behalf today.
Both men are scheduled to make court appearances on Friday, at which time a bail hearing may be scheduled for Elmi.
