Seoul Trading Corporation is recalling ChoripDong brand Frozen Pre-Fried Fish Cake from the marketplace because it may contain egg which is not declared on the label.
People with an allergy to egg should not consume the recalled product, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Jan. 4 in a news release.
The product, which is sold in 900-gram packages, has been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and may have been distributed in other provinces or territories.
The universal price code for the product is 7 61898 60855 5. The code is 2017.01.20.
The recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased, CFIA says.
If someone has an egg allergy, consuming the product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction, the agency says.
