Leafs trade Richard Panik to Blackhawks

Toronto receives Morin in exchange of minor-league forwards
The Toronto Maple Leafs traded forward Richard Panik to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Jeremy Morin on Sunday.
Morin will report to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.
The 24-year-old has appeared in 82 career NHL games with the Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets, tallying 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) and 69 penalty minutes.
During the 2015-16 season, he has played 28 games with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, amassing 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) and 24 penalty minutes.
Morin was originally drafted in 2009 by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round (45th overall).
He won bronze with the U.S. at the 2015 world hockey championships.
Panik, also 24, has skated in 151 career NHL games, totalling 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists). He has eight goals and 16 assists in 32 games with the Marlies this season.
