Thanks to Tuesday's snow storm, Saint John has declared a temporary parking ban overnight for the north, east, and west areas of the city.
It goes into effect at midnight, and lasts until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
It means a strict, no on-street parking rule in those areas, and the city warns that any vehicles left on the street after midnight will be towed at the owner's risk and expense.
Overnight parking bans are declared in the city for snow removal operations.
The snow removal operations have affected garbage collection as well.
People in the South Central Peninsula area were asked to put their garbage and compost curbside by 4 p.m. Tuesday, to allow for the plows to go through later.
