For four decades, Barb Tiano has worked at the information desk at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
When you enter the building, she's one of the first people you see.
And one of the first things you might notice is her sweater.
"Dec. 1, I start wearing Christmas attire. I start off very gently with a red sweater, and as we get closer to Christmas I bring out the jingle bells, the earrings, the socks and if I don't, patients are looking for it," she said.
She collects the sweaters now. She has sweaters for St. Patrick's Day, Halloween and other celebrations. She said it's a distraction for patients as they come into the hospital for treatments.
"I just help people, and I enjoy doing it," she said.
