Snow, at times heavy, is expected throughout southeastern Manitoba today.

A few more centimetres of snow will fall on Thursday with blowing snow all day, creating poor visibility on the highways.

The storm is due to a Colorado low shifting up from the United States. In its wake, colder temperatures will move in and linger for the next while.
Gone are the spring-like temperatures that fooled trees into budding once more.
Manitobans will now face the type of skin-chilling winter air that brings daytime highs and overnight lows in the minus double digits.
