For some, it is the perfect way to spend 17 straight hours. For others, pure agony.
CBC Calgary received a lot of entries from people wanting to be our correspondent at the Star Wars movie marathon event happening Thursday at the Scotiabank Chinook Theatre in Calgary.
To win this coveted seat, we asked you to call the Calgary Eyeopener(external link) talkback line and give us your best impersonation of a Star Wars character. Here are some of the calls that came in:

White impressed us with his knowledge of Ryl — the language of the alien species Twi'lek, from the planet Ryloth.

"I've got a Yoda licence plate," said White, who says he often gets "May the force be with you" notes left under his windshield wipers.
White says he's always had a crush on Princess Leia and once had a very interesting exchange with actor Carrie Fisher.

"I was kind of in awe, getting her autograph and it just came out of my mouth and I said, 'I love you.' And she looked up and looked me right in eye and said, 'I know' — and went right back to signing."
Which was, of course, is the famous exchange between Leia and Hans Solo in The Empire Strikes Back.
