56-date North American tour to follow sold-out European leg
Chart-topping British singer Adele will cross the Atlantic again next summer, following her sold-out European tour in early 2016 by hitting the road in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
The Hello singer announced on Monday the 56 new, North American dates for her Adele Live 2016 tour in support of 25, the record-setting third album released in late November.
The North American jaunt, which kicks off July 5 in St. Paul, Minn., will see the singer play two or more concerts in many cities.

For instance, Canadian stops include:
- Vancouver on July 20 and 21.
- Montreal on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
- Toronto on Oct. 3, 4, 6 and 7.
She'll end the North American leg with a two-date stop in Mexico City in mid-November.
Adele goes on the road, starting in Belfast, on Feb. 29.
In different interviews, the singer, mother of a young son, expressed reservations about the gruelling life of touring, as well as her anxiety about massive audiences and her voice.

In 2011, she was stricken with laryngitis and a chest infection. Later, a vocal cord hemorrhage that eventually lead to surgery forced the hit singer to cancel a slate of concert dates and appearances.
