The drilling support module was built by Kiewit over the past three years, a job that employed 1,300 people on the Burin Peninsula.
The module was completed in early December, and the 36-hour tow began Thursday.
The Bull Arm site will be used to assemble various components of the Hebron drilling platform.
The largest piece is coming from Korea, where work is behind schedule.
ExxonMobil has said its target for first oil is 2017.
