Halton police are hoping the public can help them track down two men who they say broke into a storage unit to steal cocaine last fall.

According to police, the incident happened in October of 2014, when two men equipped with a drug-sniffing dog, a lock pick set, and a digital camera with an expandable lens broke into a storage unit in Burlington.
"It is believed the two males stole a quantity of cocaine from the storage unit and may be responsible for other similar thefts from storage units," a police news release reads.
Det. Const. Ron Wright told CBC News that the locker was owned by a person who was later arrested as part of Project Wales – an operation from around the Golden Horseshoe that led to the seizure of cocaine, marijuana, cash and guns last fall.
This theft, Wright says, happened before police made 15 arrests for Project Wales, when the person was still using the unit to store cocaine.
Since then, police have been trying to identify the two men, to no avail.
Wright said that the two men appeared to be "organized and professional." The dog was used to pinpoint the exact unit that had drugs in it, and one of the men was able to pick the lock on the door "within seconds," he said.
"During the incident, the males communicated using portable radios," a police news release reads.
Investigators are still trying to track down the two men.
