The Saint John Law Courts building will be closed on Wednesday because of a lingering smell following an early-morning electrical fire.
The Department of Justice says there is a strong, lingering odour in the building, which is forcing its closure.
Saint John fire crews responded to a fire alarm at 10 Peel Plaza at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Fire officials say a small electrical fire was burning in the building's utility room.
It took firefighters about two hours to extinguish the fire and clear the scene.
