It's the winter that failed to arrive, and it continues this week in southern Manitoba.
Weather records have been falling across the province with daytime temperatures hitting new heights, and it's a pattern that will continue through this week.
Nothing even close to the normal temperatures — daytime high of –9 C and overnight low of –18 C — is expected until the weekend, Environment Canada forecasts.
Winnipeg forecast for Monday
  • Mainly sunny, high 3 C.
  • Wind south 30 km/h becoming light in the afternoon.
  • TONIGHT partly cloudy.
  • Overnight low –2 C.
